Money makes the world go round

PHEW. I am no longer poor. Freakin amazing. I have had NO money for so many months and I finally paid off ALL my parking tickets (holler!) and my other bills AND i have money in the bank. and food in the fridge. Kind of makes a person want to go shopping, ya know??

I've never really experienced being poor cuz I've always had quite a healthy savings account. Somehow I became really irresponsible at the age of 20 and blew it all on crap. Now I know it's no damn fun. Maybe I should consider switching my major...oops too late. I guess I'll just HAVE to be uber successful.

They say that most marriages that fail do so because of money issues and I can TOTALLY believe that. If I had no money and someone else felt like it was theirs to spend or they made stupid choices or whatever, I would totally can them. This is why I should never ever get married - ultimately, I do NOT like to compromise, trust people, or cede control to someone else. The thought of another person spending the money in my account - whether or not he is putting in money too - just makes me crazy. Plus I like my own room and my own bed and basically everything to go MY way. Lots of people say this attitude must mean I have never been in love but that's completely nuts. I've been in love. I'm just an emotionally unstable control freak. DUH! Emotionally unstable control freaks fail at marriage. So why bother trying?
